Frio Loco: Crystal Beach’s Best Sandwiches, Shaved Ice & Snow Cones

Frio Loco is a hidden gem! The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, and the snow cones are next-level—tons of flavors and perfectly made. The staff is super friendly and welcoming every time we stop by. Easy to get to by golf cart, which makes it super convenient if you’re cruising around town. Great spot for a quick bite or a cool treat on a hot day. Highly recommend!

My picture doesn't do justice to these amazing shaved ice yummy creations! So many flavors and so far none of them have disappointed any of our group. There are outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy or use their drive thru and take it to go. Grab a menu, order some lunch, dinner or snack and top it off with a delicious shaved ice for dessert - you won't be sorry!

Im a huge coffee person! I see no one has ever left a review about a coffee so here’s mine… I was here 3 days and showed up 3 days in a row. Had salty blonde, banana nut and beachcomber and wish I was there more days to try them all also had the mini donuts, my son liked the strawberry banana smoothie and he also had the shark attack snow cone. ALLLLL GREAT! And they have a drive thru!!

First time visit. Had lunch at Frio Loco today. Great sandwiches! You get your choice of sourdough or brioche bun for your sandwich. They offer paper bags for very efficient ordering. Our sandwiches were out to us in minutes. They also have many offerings of shaved ices, smoothies and ice creams. It's definitely going to be one of our "go to" spots in Crystal Beach.

Frio Loco is in my opinion THE BEST food truck in Port Bolivar. The owners serve amazing shaved ice, and are very kind to me, and my son, and everyone I've ever seen there. I recommend it to all of my AirBnB customers. There is no way you can visit Crystal Beach and not visit Frio Loco. They have great sandwiches as well, and some coffee items on the menu. If I could kidnap people and bring them in to try it, I would, but that's unfortunately against the law. The only thing that could make it better is if the owners applied for a Liquor License and started putting Bacardi in their snow cones. Stopped by here in the at back home from the beach with the family, everyone enjoyed there selections. Was pretty busy when we arrived, but the team seemed to have a good system because the line had their items delivered to the window very quickly. Maybe 10 minutes wait max after ordering. Would definitely go back!

Nice little Crystal beach gem, they have phenomenal sandwiches and the shaved ice is some of the best I’ve had! Service is warm and friendly and they make every item with love! One of local favorites! Get the tart sauce and get it Hawaiian style!
